What is an Air Conditioning System?

The three theoretical foundations that are behind the air conditioner operation are:


1. Heat is transferred from the higher temperature to the lowest.


2. The transition from liquid to gas absorbs heat.


3. The pressure and temperature have a direct relationship.




A system consisting of several parts properly connected in order to regulate the conditions of temperature, humidity, air flow through the spaces and renovation cleaning and filtering.


To develop this process air conditioning systems have the following basic parts.





Valves and piping

Refrigerant Gas








 A heat exchanger is generally located outside, is responsible for extracting heat from the superheated refrigerant gas, product of heat absorption in the evaporator, and in the compression process and transmit to the medium, in this stage the superheated refrigerant gas gradually cools (latent heat) and switches to high pressure hot liquid.





The compressor in the air conditioning system is responsible for moving the refrigerant in a closed circuit; suction allows the refrigerant vapor and reduces the pressure in the evaporator to the desired temperature level, on the other hand raises the refrigerant vapor pressure such that the saturation temperature is above the temperature of the medium.





The evaporator is the air conditioning part where the refrigerant reaches its saturation temperature and is vaporized. This process is absorbing heat from the medium and lowering the temperature accordingly.


Refrigerant Gas


The fluid containing an air conditioning system and whose mission is to absorb heat in the low-temperature low pressure and temperature to yield it to a hot source at high pressure and temperature, all with a change of state from liquid to vapor and steam a liquid.




The pipes in the air conditioning system is the means through which the coolant moves through the parts, compressor to condenser pressure reducing valve to the evaporator and back to the compressor, is the means through which oil moves and setback to the compressor.


Pressure Reducing Valve


It’s a valve which divides the high pressure side of the low pressure side, reducing the pressure of refrigerant leaving, allowing the same to low pressure saturated liquid, which will flow through the evaporator heat absorbing and evaporating in its entirety.

 Improves air quality by removing allergic particles and protecting the air conditioning system from damage. Without a filter the AC evaporator take delivery particles and other debris, reducing the coefficient of heat exchange reducing equipment efficiency and forcing the compressor to work harder.
